TABLE, Inc. is a local non-profit based in Carrboro, NC. Their organization provides much-needed food assistance to families and children at-risk for hunger.
The annual report was the capstone project of my work-based learning program internship at TABLE. It was a multi-page report that detailed the activities of TABLE for the year 2018-19.
In concert with the executive director and the head of marketing, using market research we concluded that what the donors wanted to read about were stories of TABLE's contributions to the community. Data was important, but numbers were to play a supporting role role to the narrative, rather than the main characters.
